Originally formed in 1980, we have provided manufacturing
services to the control industry for over twenty years and have
been responsible for the manufacture of more than 700,000 joysticks
for service in all parts of the world. In 1998 pressure of customer
demand persuaded us to discontinue our support to other
manufacturers and to supply our products direct to the user. To
support this we rebranded the company, and launched Oliver Control
Systems.
After 7 years of growth and development in both the company and
product range, Oliver Control Systems Ltd was acquired by Apem
Components in the summer of 2005, and we now trade as Apem
Components - Controls Division. To support the growth we have
relocated to a new facility in Winchester, where we have
centralised our product management and development activities and
invested significantly in our manufacturing capacity and
R&D.

manufacture for the mass consumer market.
Delivery and response
As a manufacturer of a core sub-component, we recognise
that holding inventory of our products can be costly. With this in
mind, we have designed our facility to enable a fast response to
your needs, with the option of lead times as low as a 48
hour-to-despatch. Equally we recognise the need to be adaptable to
your systems. We are fully supportive of any supply method, and can
deliver on a scheduled order, KanBan, or ship-to-stock basis.

We recognise that in a fast changing industry it is
vital that our products are continually developed, and that new
products are made available to suit differing applications. We are
proud to offer a complete service, including a bespoke design
facility to tailor our products to meet your needs. Through ongoing
