HANDLE SELECTION
GUIDE
Apem industrial joysticks are designed to offer the user as many
options as possible.
Each product series is offered with a range of handles, allowing
the user to customise the look and feel of their control panel.

Choosing the right handle, is not just a question of how the
unit looks but also how it will be used. Smaller handles require
the user to grip the joystick with just a finger and thumb, this
gives the impression of a more precise operation for such
applications demanding greater care and precision from the user,
such as medical imaging.
Where smaller handles encourage the user to grip only using a
thumb and finger, this also reduces the amount of force a user can
exert, versus a large handle which can be gripped with the whole
hand. This is an important consideration for designers who create
products for applications that are either more heavy industry based
or for consumer environments.
