Honeywell zone control system

Zone valves control the flow of water to a given zone in a hydronic heating system. Zone valves can be used in a variety of applications including radiant and hydronic heating. Creating multiple zones improves efficiency and occupant comfort in a home. For example, the main floor of a house may be served by one heating zone while the upstairs bedrooms are served by another. In this situation, heat can be directed primarily to the main floor during the day and to the upstairs bedrooms at night. This allows the unoccupied areas to cool down when vacant.

A zone valve actuator is responsible for controlling the opening and closing of the valve. Zone valves are available in 2 or 3-way valve configurations and in various connection types. They can be normally closed or normally open, and provide differing flow rates dependent on valve size.

Honeywell Zone Valves, Taco 570 Zone Valves, White Rodgers Zone Valves, and Erie Zone Valves are standard zone valves. Zone valves manufactured by Honeywell and Taco are the most popular zone valves sold on our website.

Zone Sentry Valves
Taco Zone Sentry Zone Valves provide on-off, normally open or normally closed control in both open and closed hydronic systems. The valves can be used in a wide variety of heating and cooling applications, primarily designed for use with baseboard, fan coils, radiators, convectors, air handlers, heat pumps, and radiant applications.

Taco Geothermal Zone Valves
Taco Geothermal Zone Valves are designed for high-head, open-system zone control. The unique end switch design permits control of the heat pump by the valve, allowing cold water into the coil before the heat pump starts.

Taco Zone Valve Controls
Taco Zone Valve Controls (ZVCs) simplify wiring complicated controls. The Taco Zone Valve Controls should be used in coordination with 2, 3, or 4-wire zone valves. They feature universal thermostat compatibility, and their simple layout eliminates problems caused by incorrect wiring. External indicator lights give instant diagnostic feedback and reduce installation time.

Taco 550 Series Heat Motor Zone Valves
Taco's 550 Series heat motor zone valves are designed for high-head capacity applications such as high-rise residential and commercial buildings. Their heavy duty construction enables them to operate up to 150 feet of pump head.

Honeywell TrueZone Systems
The Honeywell TrueZone system is easy to use, versatile, and compatible with most heating systems. LED panel indicators allow for instant system diagnostics and easy monitoring via zones for heating or cooling. Indication lights specify what stage is calling for heat or cool, and whether the emergency heat is on. The Honeywell TrueZone also provides variable speed fan control and discharge air temperature staging.
